It is fascinating posts like these recent ones from
Mike Harris, and previous one by Havoc, Brent Fox, and
other Red Hat folks, that makes me glad I'm a Red Hat
customer.  I appreciate the candor and the discussion.
 I also appreciate the fact that Red Hat has taken the
time to think through these issues and has chosen the
route that, while some may question its short term
goals, is clearly focused on the long term growth of
the company, which is A Good Thing.  Even though I'm a
home user/hobbyist, I know I'd much rather have no mp3
support included if it helps ensure Red Hat is around
for a long time.
