Did you all see the news tonight from California? I Police vehicle had to get in front of a Toyota and slow it to a stop as the driver called 911 as his car was stuck at 90 MPH and he couldn't slow or stop it? Fords are looking really good to me these days.

I had an 2006 Lexus Rx400h & its actual mileage, both in town & on the road, was consistently 6 - 8 miles below its rated mileage. I don't think hybrid technology is yet perfected. One should wait for the next generation hybrids with more efficient batteries, etc. Jim Cartwright Immortal Performances, Inc. jim...@earthlink.net > [Original Message] > From: Ron L'Herault <lhera...@bu.edu> > To: Antique Phonograph List <phono-l@oldcrank.org> > Date: 07-Mar-2010 10:37:07 PM > Subject: Re: [Phono-L] Vehicle? > > nice, but more expensive than I can handle and it does not get great > mileage.
