I haven't committed anything yet. It seems like the benefit of starting with a fresh copy of HEAD is taht, well, it's a fresh copy of HEAD. Since there is nothing used from the old apache_hooks branch it makes sense to me to start afresh. new name/old name makes no difference to me.
