I agree, this auto language detection is quite annoying...
It detects upon the user-prefered language in the browser, hence I don't have this problem as I prefer english in browser.
But yes - if you prefer your native language in general, this can be annoying especially since you don't have any control over it (like with a cookie saving general prefs for .php.net).
