Well, looking back onto my email from [EMAIL PROTECTED] notifying me of my cvs account, it doesnt even contain links to any documentation. At the very least a link to related materials for newcomers would be nice to have to get people started. Not that it's very hard to find on our own, it would just save us some time :)
No doc for this. Should it be included in the mail people receive when they are granted a CVS account?
Would be nice to have something more permanent.. People lose email (I'm surprised we don't hear more of this, actually).
Also, do we WANT all CVS users to know about master? (-;
If we put it up to a permanent place, then all people will be able to find it... The important scripts at master.php.net are protected enough (the user database scripts, the mirror admin script). The event and note administration is currently not restricted, but every action is reflected as an email, so if someone would try to abuse the system, it will quickly turn out...
It will be really nice to have an email template that will be sent to new commers. For example yesterday, I did the guide for Lateralus showing him how to help with the notes, how to login on master.php.net (to have the magic cookie), how to close a bug as a developper, etc etc.

Thanks again for all your help didou, without it I would probably still be reading the howto and trying to get cvs working :)
