You can use the colorhead for B&W variable contrast paper. Yellow filter for
low contrast, Magenta for high. Use split exposures, one high contrast and one
low and you will have good tonal control. Drum processing is the best for film.

  Hi all and Don,
I do use the Jobo Duolab. We bought one with grant money for our high
school. To answer your question it spins in one direction. It is simple to
operate. I have developed color print film, slide film, and am about to try
color reversal paper in the trays with my pinhole cameras. It is a compact
unit and I now use it in a 3' X 6' darkroom in the back of my office. I am
planning on buying one for myself after I retire this next spring.

I just recently inherited a Bessler color unit and have no info on it. Could
anyone give some info on it? I got a color enlarger with it too. Since 90% of
my photo work has been B&W I have a whole new learning curve ahead of me.

  Just my two cents!
  Take Care,
