Use a small piece of paper to measure the distance from the shutter blades of
your camera to where the body cap goes.  You can then go to
http://members.home.net/hmpi/Pinhole/Articles/PinholeArticles.htm and read what
pinhole size you will need from the Pinhole Aperture Values chart.

Using film will allow you to make enlargements.  Since Tri-X is panchromatic,
you cannot use a safelight when developing the film.  Sometimes I use halftone
film, which is orthochromatic, which can be developed under a safelight.

Of course, you don't really have to develop in complete darkness if you use
tubes.  I've been using the tubes from http://www.darkroom-innovations.com/ for
many years and they're about as convenient as it gets (develops evenly, can use
different times for different sheets, do everything but load the film into the
tubes with white lights on, etc.).
