It's very simple. Even when I'm in the jungle I have my drum and C-41 chemistry with me. All you need is a plastic drum, three 1-liter bottles, a thermometer, the chemistry (which usually comes in powder form), water, and a dark room or a changing bag for inserting the film in the drum.
