Tilt Table Test

Hi there,

Has anyone had a tilt table test? I have one scheduled for Tuesday and I would love to know what to expect. I read about it and it sounds like they try to induce a spell!

I became very ill very suddenly on Wednesday and they think I may have heart problems, now. I slept for almost two days straight with an ekg, blood tests, and a 24hr heart monitor in between. I have tilt table, EEG, and sleep study tests scheduled this coming week. I also have to see a cardiologist for the first time. I don't know what to expect. Has anyone had an EEG test recently? I had one back in 1997, I am wondering if they have changed at all. I hated that test. I am not looking forward to it. After reading about the tilt table test, I am not looking forward to that one, either.

Thank you for any information or experience you may share. I am a bit cautious about this round of testing. For those of you with Cushings, would this test cause my cortisol to bottom out?

Thank you in advance. Take care.

Meri
