Yea, since you have the dev repo that contains higher package revisions than the sru repo, you wont see any updates if you just select the sru repository (and have 'Show:' set to updates) Though since the gui does allow you to select the repo I would expect it to show whats new in that repo even if there are later updates in another repo.
