Ok for example I have the computer without a sound card and with the small hard disk. I do not wish to install a heap of multimedia packages because of dependences. Or for example I have made some changes to some package and I do not wish it to upgrade. I think someone have other examples. Believe, in a practical life sometimes it is necessary to do absolutely improbable things.
