If you install a single package, it will be indexed differently than the
rest of your packages. Once 20 packages have been installed since the
last index rebuild, the index will be rebuilt and the index will be the
same. I raised this issue and the conclusion was we'd release note the
issue.
For the repository, I believe it will be in the mixed state until
pkgrepo rebuild is issued.
