/etc/tomcat8/server.xml
Does not works; if an "appname.war" package contains a META-INF
directory with a
context.xml
context descriptor inside, that file is not copied to:
/etc/tomcat8/Calalina/localhost/appname.xml
as it should, according to tomcat8 docs:

Moreover, the ROOT context does not works anymore; catalina.out
reports a permission error for:
/etc/tomcat8/Calalina/localhost/ROOT.xml
Workaround:
Set group write permission for
/etc/tomcat8/Calalina/localhost
(group ownership: tomcat8)
so that tomcat process can write into it.
