Emacs has been ported to maemo-based devices (a debian derivative), such as the Nokia Internet Tablet n800 and n810 (the main difference between those two is a slide-out keyboard). http://www.nseries.com http://maemo.org I haven't tried it yet, but am looking to install emacs on my n800, since you got me thinking about it. I pair a bluetooth keyboard with my tablet. Mostly, I just ssh from the tablet to my home server and run emacs there. I don't know about the feasibility of installing planner, etc on this, but it is supposed to be a straight port of emacs. emacs port: http://danielsz.freeshell.org/code/mine/emacs-for-maemo/ I love my tablet. I haven't worked on making planner available when it is offline, but your post has got me interested in it, and I'm working on installing emacs right now! cheers, K -- In Vino Veritas http://astroturfgarden.com
