I am not 100% sure about this, but I think that the 2gig is above the 256 that makes up the OS installation. On the n800, which I have, there are two slots. One is the "internal" one, and the other is the "external" one. additionally, there is a "device" memory which is 256MB of storage. On the n800, the internal and external can be 8MB flash cards. 16MB cards may be supported, but I'm not sure. On the n810, that internal one is hard wired. I believe there is a hack to replace it. > Please let me know how it goes, as I am very curious. Both unison and rsync have been ported. I currently use svn to sync my data, but there does not seem to be a port for that. Yet. > Btw. is anyone using something paperbased? Tools like the Hipster PDA are fun, but I need something that has more of a chance of being with me when I want it. For me, that means something electronic. If you are wondering why I got the 800 over the 810, the simple answer is price. I had a 770 and bluetooth keyboard. I just wanted to be able to run OS2008, which is much, much more stable and usable than 2007. K -- In Vino Veritas http://astroturfgarden.com
