Ever since a snapshot was released, I've seen questions asked repeatedly
by people who haven't scanned through the list archives to see if their
question has been answered already. If RPMs are released, we'll only see
and increase in these questions, and the signal to noise ratio of this
list will grow to the point where we'll need a separate user list and
developer list. Why do that before the product is even close to ready to
use? If you can't figure out how to use CVS, plex86 just isn't ready for
you yet.
Also, there have been a lot of people asking why it's so slow on their
machines. The answer is obviously that it's not ready yet, but if RPMS
are released how many others will try it, not ask why it's so slow and
assume that it always will be, and then not come back to try it again when
it is ready?
Now maybe I'm not the guy to talk because I haven't had time to lend to
the development, but I've ejnoyed keeping up with the technical aspects as
plex86. I'd hate to have to remove myself from the list because I'm
wasting time trying to find the technical discussions...
