Too much noise. I've got to monitor the list regardless of noise;
other people have the option to log off. Same for other developers.
Most current problems are known. Enhancing the underlying architecture
is more important right now than having people who don't know how
to compile, reiterate the same problems.
No binaries/packaging is the policy for now. I realize OSS development
contains an amount of anarchy and noise. But it could be better if people
observed and respected the judgement of the people doing most of the work.
