While booting MiniRTL (a floppy-based real-time Linux distribution) this
happened:
lots of "port92h read partially supported" messages
rebooted my computer while decompressing the Linux kernel
MiniRTL is here, if that matters:
http://www.rtlinux.org/minirtl.html
As a sanity check, the FreeDOS 10M disk image and the FreeDOS beta 6
mini floppy from freedos.org both booted fine.
This happens on a 500MHz PIII with 256MB under both 2.2.14 from RedHat
and 2.2.18+RTLinux.
