At the risk of sounding elitist and rude, I feel a statement such as this is
unacceptable. This person is interested in the tree, and a problem stands in
his way. It is a major obstacle to him.. But so incredibly easy to solve on
the server side. Accomodating people is an important part of a community,
and ostracism based on a choice of operating system isn't appropriate in a
group project such as this.
Perhaps this isn't the view you intended to convey.. Perhaps it is.
Either way, your statement wasn't terribly kind.
