I wish I could say the work was done, but there's still a great deal left to 
do, and I'm starting to wonder if it might not be better to turn energy toward 
implementing crushinator instead.

I do think the places I was trying to go with structures in templer are similar 
to your approach and we should definitely hash this out.  Can we start up some 
sort of shareable document that we can bat back and forth so we can start 
collaborating on this?
