This is actually a lot easier to accomplish in ZopeSkel 3 / templer because we now have the ability to use questions to decide which files to put in place in the first place. With ZopeSkel 2 your only viable option is to use the post method of your template to remove files you don't want. In templer, you can define 'structure' questions which allow you to choose which files/directories to put in in the first place.
