Hi, I wanted to get in touch with you regarding Plucker and a company called Bluefish (www.bluefishusa.com).
Before I say anything I want you to know that the company that I work for, Streetbeam (www.streetbeam.com), is a competitor if Bluefish. If this comes off the wrong way I apoligize, but I did want to point out to you that Bluefish is using the Plucker browser and distributing it as their own, or more appropriatly, not giving Plucker it's credit. My only hesitation in sending this is that you have an agreement with Bluefish alowing them to do this. I understand that Plucker is released Open Source but I also feel that what they are doing is not in the spirit of Open Source. The best way to show this is with an example, visit http://www.mercuryguide.com/dn/dnews.html and download the application for first time users. After installation you will see that the browser used is Plucker down to the navigation icons. If you change SLC-Content.pdb to have creator 'Plkr' you can even open it directly in Plucker. But don't feel that special, I think they did the same thing with the ZLib library. Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks.
