Giving credit is no obligation for code released under GPL, so we can't
really "force" them to do that ;-) Of course, one could always think that
considering the fact that they haven't written this app they would (out
of courtesy) give credit where credit is due.

There is no such agreement. However, as long as they follow the license
(that includes to release the source code for all their modifications)
they don't need any agreement. Still, visiting their web site I haven't
been able to find the source code so far.

I will contact them. Actually, I assume they already know since I think
at least one of their developers are subscribed to this mailing list ;-)

Guess I should contact the publisher and request either that they provide
the source code for download or a link to where the source code can be
downloaded (everyone distributing a GPL application in binary format must
also provide the source code.)

All the forms data from our viewer is still included in "their" viewer.
They even kept the version number (1.1.12) ;-)

The ZLib library is distributed under a different license.

Thanks for telling us. I have been in contact with two companies about
license "violations" related to Plucker in the past and they have both
fixed the problems when told about them, so I will give Bluefish the
benefit of the doubt (they do say that it is free software in the About
box.)

Best regards,
