FWIW, I agree that the split text record issue is a major problem. It's not annoying enough to put me off using Plucker, though. The fact that you can't judge a page's total length, only the length of the current segment, makes Plucker nearly useless for e-books. OK, maybe it's not meant as an e-book reader, but still. Considering that the rest of the viewer is so great, this limitation indeed stands out as a glaring shortcoming.
