With bittorrent, only explicitly share files are available, and
there is a checksum to ensure that you got what the central
server said you should.

That said, I agree that having it installed makes it that much
easier to use for other downloads, including illegal ones.

Unfortunately, the people running plkr.org have said that they
can't handle the load with a single-server paradigm; if you
would like to put up a http: or ftp: mirror so that people
won't have to start using bittorrent, they would appreciate this.
