I do not think that the "Killed" message is from plucker
or python -- I think it means that the operating system
killed the process -- particularly since you are running
linux, where that can be done without too much hassle.

7 Meg might actually be too big for the Palm, at least
for a single database.  Linux can generally allow up to
2Gigs in a "normal" file, but the Palm is often limited
to 3 bytes/databaes (about 8 Meg), and has some
overhead.
