To follow up on Alexander said here, It might be worth it to set up an Rsync to a single system so that all of the others will sync to that system. or some of the other roaming profile options.
I personally went with KDE on Garuda Linux, but for your needs arch would be a good idea over garuda (Gaming centric tweaks and tools). I like the current state of KDE Plasma it suits me. in the case of an OS, i would consider picking one that will let you keep updating from old to new or a good stable rolling release. one that you can keep moving forward as it seems that you have run into a limit on Mint in that regard. But as you are in a moment of change, maybe take an extended look at what you want from these systems and how you want them to work for you.
