Suggest you replace that with postfix or qmail
if that is a concern you might want to run multiple queues of sendmail,
but you need to increase the number of batches -- say, instead of 2 200k
batch, do it in 800 0.5K batches.
then run several instances of sendmail by /usr/lib/sendmail -q0h to
process the queued mail.
