again my question of why should the 'circle of trust' be limited to physical acquaintances? assuming that i can endorse, i would not think twice about endorsing holden even though i have not met him physically. i dont even know how he looks like in person. why would i endorse him, its because i know he is doing something for the adoption of FLOSS here in the country and he gives valuable time support for the linux newbies within and outside of the PLUG mailing lists. the last one alone is enough for me to qualify anybody for PLUG membership. physical meetings are fine but i would rather have a trust that was developed in time rather than one that came from chatting once while on an event. again all i have stated above are my just my views and opinions. :) ciao! -- "Programming, an artform that fights back" Anuerin G.
