Well, thanks for the heads up. I used to do the same but got lazy so i
keep my other data in my home directory as well.

any chance you're somewhere close  in Manila and could be bothered for
a copy of karmic 64-bit? Someone suggested i wait for the release
party on friday or i could amuse myself with my super slow 3g
connection and maybe finish it by tuesday or wednesday. :(
