Hi Danny, WESM has a Luzon-only chart. I think this is good enough for our purposes. You can download either a PDF or a CSV version. Perhaps it can be downloaded 3-5 mins after every hour. What is missing from the chart is a horizontal red line representing supply. For our purposes, let's make this a programmable target we can set ourselves. Thus we can have several dry runs setting a relatively easy target muna, regardless of actual supply, and see whether we can keep demand below the target. Then in subsequent dry runs, we can keep lowering the target. This will feel like a massive multi-player online game, using switches at home and office instead of joysticks!
So the software we need has to do something like this: - download the PDF or CSV Luzon file from WESM every 3-5 mins after the hour - add the target megawatts as a red horizontal line - generate the jpeg/png graph. - upload to server for mirroring/download by everyone else. You don't need to touch the date/hour. We should use what is on the WESM chart. We just need to add the red horizontal line (the line we all want to avoid). Any other volunteers? It would be nice to have something going by Easter Sunday or Monday... I'm also working on it, but my python skills are somewhat inadequate for some of the more difficult portions of this task. Greetings to all pluggers, Obet Verzola PS. A peaceful Holy Week to you Mr. fooler! Maybe your extraordinary programming expertise can help in this activity.
