And if so, can they comment on how it works for them? Sibling had an older HP inkjet fail with a weirdly blinking power LED, haven't been able to figure out how to recover, WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER HP INKJET, EVER. This (subject line) one came up as a possibility. Brother distributes rpm and deb packaged drivers (which is slightly frightening in itself, where is the source, why isn't it available *IN* distributions?).
