Hello Ian,

I'm using an Intel L440GX+ server board that comes with built-in scsi,
video, network adapters and supports dual cpu.
This is the first time I'm using a scsi drive with Linux so I had no idea
about mkinitrd until Marco suggested it in another msg.

Thank for the info.  I'll try out your suggestion and get the latest kernel.
