okay..so i was wrong...hehehe...aint the first time. problem was, i forgot to
make a new initrd.img file before rebooting to my spanking new kernel update.
sheesh. tuloy, di niya na-load yung megaraid and scsi drivers ng kernel version
na bago. i had to reinstall...am here...naninigas sa lamig sa ndc ng infocom.

postmortem, i wonder if i could've done the whole thing without having to
reinstall. that means i would have to boot from a kernel that has the megaraid
driver, and the scsi adapter driver with it. tsk tsk tsk...okay. grabe...why is
it the harder lessons come at bigger price tags (the bother of coming here on
thursday, holy week).
