Welcome to the club.  The data file of djbdns is indeed the power.  Good 
thing is that it's easy to edit enough by hand and recompile the cdb for us 
who handle small networks and for the big ones, the binaries like add-host, 
add-alias, etc are great tools so that you might not make the mistake of 
adding lots of stuff that breaks the data file.  Correct me if I'm wrong but 
I don't think BIND provides for tools like this which will warn you of 
impending disasters. =)  You know what's even cooler?  You can also do load 
balancing on services as well as traffic direction using only the same data 
file.  Really good for webserver farms.
