There seems to be no change at all. Does the terminal type have something to do with what I'm using in my own machine? If so, I use Konsole, the default terminal for the KDE desktop. When I check the settings, the "keyboard" is set to XTerm (XFree 4.x.x). Other choices are linux console, vt100, vt420PC and XTerm (XFree 3.x.x). changing among these doesn't seem to have any effect at all. *sigh* Thanks! -- Joon Guillen ================================ So computers are tools of the Devil? thought Newt.
