It didn't work....even I tried putting the whole path as in:

<IfModule mod_alias.c>
Alias /home/http/html/NEWYEAR /home/http/html/newyear
</IfModule>

...and I verified...

LoadModule alias_module       modules/mod_alias.so

...is in my httpd.conf
ok,ok. back to mod_write.

I'm reading it(honestly I'm confused), but I want to see an example of this scenario.
Any leads?
