I think I just researched long enough and cant get solution for this...

I had this problem setting up NIS authentication on my redhat 9.
Here s the scenario:

Setup user name in the NIS server.supply it with a password.
On the client I already set it up to authenticate on the NIS server.
So I tried to restart the ypserver.

The problem is that my client machine cannot bind to the NIS server
which is a Redhat 7.3.

With that I cannot change the permission for the /home/nisuser  folder
in which permission has to be nisuser.nisuser.
