Just wanted to update as well. I've sent and gotten a reply from Mako Hill at Canonical. He's basically said that within the past two weeks, several have brought up this issue with him. He's now talking with their shipping company in hopes of resolving such issues. He didn't answer me regarding my question on "how much" was on the declaration form, and unfortunately I wasn't able to see it. But he was also willing to fax a letter to our customs regarding this issue, and to state that the CDs are free of cost. So if anyone else has some problems with the shipped CDs, don't leave the "pick-up" form at the Post Office. Get the name of the customs official, get a number to have a letter faxed to, then try and contact Benjamin Mako Hill at Canonical. I forget the email address but it should be easy to find. I hope this helps others. dex -- Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Official Website: http://plug.linux.org.ph Searchable Archives: http://marc.free.net.ph .
