Thanks for your belief in the Filipino Michael.

But at the same time, you are crossing boundaries here. Obviously you
are coming from a *Western* perspective, where everything is black and
white; and I forgive you for that. I understand that you wanted to end
corruption; so do we. I know that the US *DOESN'T* put up with
corruption (tongues-in-cheek) and SWIFTLY carries out justice on
erring officials (right... roll-eyes). But please understand that we
have a way of doing things here. That suspected corrupt custom
official will get his share of the justice system one day. *Making a
scene* is not our way... it doesn't get the results you want.. it gets
you bullets. We ARE NOT in the US. Dexter has a valid fear. This is
the Philippines.

Yes we all hate corruption. Yes we all want righteous governance. Yes
we want change in our government for the better. And Yes, we have our
own way of making this happen.

So the next time you observe something about the Filipino, think
again. Ask yourself "Am I just acting like an ethnocentric jerk about
this?"

Mabuhay ang Pilipino!
Teka asan si kapatid na Talim? heheheh...
