Another topic that's needed IMHO is a strategy for adopting FLOSS, with a special emphasis on SMBs. That would include how to get help, and I'm sure the sponsoring GNU/Linux service companies would be happy to pitch their services here :) The talk would also include training for the SMB staff, unless they choose to outsource their entire IT to some company -- w/c would be one of their options in adopting FLOSS.

In my opinion other SMB want to implement Open Source, but the SWs/applications are not 'user friendly' and not easier to configure enough compare to MS SWs/applications. Am I right? So consider these matters during the Open Source conference. -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web - Check your email from the web at http://mail2web.com/ . -- Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Official Website: http://plug.linux.org.ph Searchable Archives: http://marc.free.net.ph .
