John, I switched from virtualbox to qemu and learned that it's easier to use once set up. My installation is on a laptop and intended only to update the firmware of Garmin Nuvi GPS receivers. But, since Garmin wants $100 per Nuvi per map upgrade (and there are two units here) qemu sits unused but available.
