Off to read on using nmap.

# nmap -sP 192.168.55.2-200

Starting Nmap 7.12 ( https://nmap.org ) at 2019-02-26 15:23 PST
Nmap scan report for router1.appl-ecosys.com (192.168.55.4)
Host is up (0.0023s latency).
MAC Address: 00:0F:66:09:8C:BE (Cisco-Linksys)
Nmap scan report for wap.appl-ecosys.com (192.168.55.200)
Host is up (0.00024s latency).
MAC Address: 08:86:3B:51:99:8C (Belkin International)
Nmap done: 199 IP addresses (2 hosts up) scanned in 1.81 seconds

Since nmap sees the WAP (line 5 of the results) and it's up what might be
preventing me (and root) from pinging it or accessing its admin page using
the browser?

Next step?

Rich
