Just to make sure I'm not mistyping:
rsteff@ENU-1:~/appimage$ ls
OpenShot-v3.0.0-x86_64.AppImage
Text in the Launcher:
OpenShot-v3.0.0-x86_64.AppImage
(I did mistype the error message in my first post. The Launcher has the
filename correct.)
