As your honestly walking down the aisles of the grocery store, do you
really think to yourself "Gee, I'd like some strawberries. And look,
they're cheaper than the ones I bought last week! Oh, but wait... When I
talked to my friend who works for the grocer I found out they're earning
a higher markup this week so I guess I won't buy any."

I don't care if the other party is getting the larger benefit, so long
as I'm happy with the benefit I'm getting. I might wish my negotiating
position were better, but that's no reason to kill a deal that benefits
me.
