It happened again this morning for several minutes and I watched iwconfig. Here it is after: wlp4s0 IEEE 802.11bgn ESSID:"INFECTED_MALWARE" Mode:Managed Frequency:2.462 GHz Access Point: 10:BF:48:E6:F0:C0 Bit Rate=300 Mb/s Tx-Power=20 dBm Retry long limit:7 RTS thr=2347 B Fragment thr:off Power Management:off Link Quality=70/70 Signal level=-38 dBm Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0 Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:301 Missed beacon:0 The only thing that changed during the outage was the Bit Rate would occasionally drop down to 15 Mb/s, the Link Quality occasionally dropped to 64/70, and the Signal level, usually between -36 and -42 dBm would occasionally jump to 24-26 dBm. I'm stumped. /* PLUG: http://plug.org, #utah on irc.freenode.net Unsubscribe: http://plug.org/mailman/options/plug Don't fear the penguin. */
