You may have mentioned it but I didn’t see it, have you tried narrowing down 
which device might be misbehaving by plugging each of the potential suspects in 
one at a time while running a ping? You could do a quick(er) binary search by 
plugging in half and checking and then unplugging those and plugging in the 
other half and narrowing down through that process.
