This is most interesting, especially that last line - it knows where it comes from :-)
Seriously: it looks as if the file was saved as RTF or some other format, but not a plain text file. Could you please try to download it again directly to the folder (something like "wget http://www.herger.net/_data/MusicInfoSCR.pm";).
