What exactly do you mean by will not work? Do those items not show up? Or do they go to empty lists? Or just nothing happens when you tap on them? If the app doesn't even seem to respond to the tap, ie. the item background doesn't flash when you tap on it or the background just says highlighted, then the phone may just be lagging for some reason. Instead of restarting, you can try disconnecting and reconnecting. It could be a glitch in the connection.
