Hi Michael & Paul, the C2 is indeed a cassette player. In the original front most of the openings were closed (in the plastic parts by epoxy resin and on the metal parts with liquid metal - a 2k epoxy material). The display sits in the former cassette drive - the original plastic part was replaced by a 3d print matching the 5" monitor.
